To fit, the particular lighting/ring main circuit should first be isolated and the switch screws must be removed so the switch can be carefully eased forward. The finger plate can then be passed diagonally over the switch, with the bevelled inner section facing outwards. The switch can then be refitted, holding the finger plate in situ.
