The AP25BM is a robust, compact bench mounted chisel morticer, produced almost entirely from cast iron. This strong, heavy-duty construction gives the machine capacities of 25mm in softwood and 19mm in hardwood. A single handwheel controls both longitudinal and lateral table movement. This system makes controlling the movement a breeze. The table has a tall back fence, with lateral stops for repeat mortising. The depth stop includes a haunch stop. The multiple position material clamp can accommodate different workpiece widths. A gas strut provides smooth downward travel of the headstock and also allows headstock "parking" in any position. There is an optional floor stand, plus also a very useful door mortising attachment.
