The Surround simply fits around the OUTSIDE of your Standard DOUBLE socket / switch with either no nails or border adhesive or similar. One Around the Outside of DOUBLE Socket Surround. Once given a light sand and coat or two of paint / varnish / wax / Gold Leaf or what ever you choose simply stick it in place.
